Interests:
I have been an entrepreneur most of my life and love operating and managing my own business. In Minneapolis, I created, owned, and operated Dashe & Thomson, a $6M technical writing and training business for 25 years (still going strong today). In other parts of my life, I love to read, was in a Book Club for 30 years in Minnesota, and started a Book Club in California when I moved here five years ago.

Phi Beta Kappa, University of Michigan; Dashe & Thomson: Top 100 Small Companies, State of Minnesota; 2006 Century 21 Sea Coast Achievement Award.
Education:
Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from University of Michigan; Graduate work in English Literature and Technical Writing at University of Minnesota; Graduate work in Technical Management at University of St. Thomas
Comments:
I have three adult sons, two daughters-in-law, and one 8-year-old grandson, Max. My two older sons live and work in Minneapolis. My youngest son and his wife live in Irvine. I live in Cardiff, work in Encinitas, and work out every day at Cardiffit; since moving to CA five years ago, I have become a true believer in fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Last November, I walked the 3-Day, 60-mile Walk for Breast Cancer and finished 110 out of 3000. I also enjoy professional sports and am a huge Padres and Chargers fan (having transferred allegiance from the Twin and Vikings).
